A letter from Glenn: Thank You Houston Dynamo fans!

After twenty years behind the microphone, my time calling matches for the Houston Dynamo has come to an end. In December, I was relieved of my duties with Houston Dynamo TV and radio.

A big thank you to Dynamo fans, my colleagues, and everyone I’ve had the privilege to share this journey with. This role was never just a job — it was a responsibility, an honor, and a piece of who I am.

To the fans: thank you for letting me into your lives for two decades. Thank you for listening through the celebrations, the disappointments, the rebuilds, and the moments that reminded us why we fell in love with this game in the first place. You gave meaning to every broadcast, every late night, every emotional call. I always served the club, the city, and most importantly, you, with honesty and passion. I hope you felt that.

To my colleagues and friends — on air and behind the scenes — I will forever be grateful.

The long days, the travel, the pressure, the laughter, the shared frustration, and the unforgettable moments are bonds that don’t fade. You are professionals in every sense of the word, and it was a privilege to work alongside people who cared so deeply about getting it right, and who made me a better broadcaster.

Houston is one of the greatest soccer cities in this country. I’ve seen it. I’ve felt it. I’ve heard it in the stands, in the streets, and on my radio show.

It is my sincere hope that one day the priority of the Houston Dynamo truly shifts — to being a soccer club in the fullest sense of the word, one that values the game itself as much as investment and business decisions. I say this because I care deeply. I believe this club is underachieving in too many areas and has failed to be relevant in a city that lives and breathes the sport. This city, you the fans, and the early legacy of the Dynamo deserve more. It is sad that those that care deeply seemed to be deemed a threat.

I leave proud of the work, grateful for the trust I was given, and hopeful that the future can match the potential I know exists here. No matter where life takes me next, my love for the game — and for this city — will never change.

Thank you for twenty years!

With gratitude, honesty, and respect,

Glenn
