Senior Vice President/General Manager Matt Jordan will return for the 2021 MLS season as the head of Houston Dynamo FC soccer operations, a club source has confirmed to “Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis.”
Jordan’s current deal was set to expire at the end of the 2020 season, his sixth season as the club’s sporting director.
“In evaluating the season, nobody is happy with not making the playoffs,” said Houston Dynamo FC President of Business Operations John Walker. “That said, there are several things that Matt and the rest of the technical team have been doing over the last couple of years that we think really positions the club nicely…and all of those things, we think, position us well for the future.”
Matt Jordan will be the featured guest on next Tuesday’s “Soccer Matters with Glenn Davis” on ESPN Houston 97.5 FM. The Dynamo GM has agreed to take questions over the phone from supporters.
